The Region I Championships are the most
important US Youth Soccer registered
team competition conducted by the
Region, or by any State Association within
each State Association each year� As such,
this competition requires that each State
Association and all members of State
Associations support the Championships as
their first priority�
The US Youth Soccer Championships
Policies prescribes the requirements of the
Championships competitions� The Region
I Championships Rules and Regulations are
designed to supplement that policy and
establish the procedures to be followed
in Region I� Except as otherwise provided
in these Rules and Regulations, the US
Youth Soccer Championships Policies and
the Region I Championships Rules and
Regulations apply to the 12U age group�
These Rules and Regulations, the US Youth
Soccer National Championships Rules, and
the Laws of the Game (FIFA) in that order
shall govern the games�
